Festive season in Bali

For most of us, the 365 1/4 and in some years 366 days in a year always contain a particular day that we ought to celebrate, whereby we gather with our loved ones, share a special meal with them, receive gifts and allow our hearts grow tender with childhood memories of Santa.. For many Christians, Christ is the reason for this season and for some, this is just a tradition that caught on. Nonetheless, we all celebrate this joyous occasion with the same intentions of love, happiness, and generosity which is what makes this the most wonderful time of the year. The Festive season in Bali is one that caters for all this and more.

For many, the season is often a winter wonderland with everything covered in white sheets of snow making it the perfect weather for eggnog. As opposed to how we experience Christmas in this part of the world were the sun shines bright and the skies are blue for most of the year.  The climate is still very enjoyable and often drives a lot of tourists to visit Bali and also makes for a good mid-term break for our undergraduates and staff members. As we commence celebrating the festive season that is upon us, we at Universitas Triatma Mulya Stenden in Bali would like to wish you and your loved ones a merry and bright Christmas.
